Terms and Conditions:

1. Lagu Bandhu Jewellery purchased from any of our showrooms including online stores like Amazon or our website, can be presented for exchange or buy-back at any of our showrooms. A list of our showrooms with contact details is given in Table 1 at the end of this document. The gold & platinum rate of respective purity at showroom where buy-back happens would be considered as ‘current rate’ for calculating the buy-back price of jewellery.
2. For the purpose of “exchange” or “buy-back”, the ornaments must be in clean, wearable condition. Ornaments with fallen stones and/or broken condition will attract an additional charge for repairing/polishing/cleaning. The value of missing or damaged stones will not be considered for evaluation. Ornaments damaged beyond repairs will be considered for “buyback” only even if a new ornament is purchased against this value.
3. The Original invoice and Certificate (in case of Diamond ornaments) must be produced. In case these are lost, the Stores Manager’s decision to deny / accept such ornaments for exchange or buy-back will be final. (the store manager can also dedcut the cost of re-certification)
4. Diamond ornaments can be exchanged for Diamond ornaments only. In case they are to be exchanged against plain gold jewellery, it will be valued as per buy-back policy and NOT as per exchange policy. Uncut diamond and fancy shaped diamonds (i.e. other than Round Brilliant Cut) will not be valued as per above buy-back policy. They will be subject to quality evaluation by Lagu Bandhu team.
5. Taxes means any taxes currently applicable or applicable at the time of purchase (like VAT, GST,Excise duty etc.) as the case may be
6. No buy-back value will be given for Labour/Making charges paid to us.
7. All products will undergo quality checks before the exchange or buy-back are initiated. Lagu Bandhu reserves the right to calculate the exchange and buy-back amounts of the product depending on the final evaluation by our quality check team. Lagu Bandhu reserves the right to deny the ecchange or buy-back of any item even if it qualifies through quality evaluation.
8. Hallmarked ornaments or Hallmark has to be as per the BIS standards
9. All Coins / Biscuits or ornaments will be accepted subject to purity checks, wherein we may have to break the original packing and the items may be deformed/discoloured irreversibly.
10. Lagu Bandhu reserves the right to unilaterally modify any of the above rules/conditions/values without notice to past customers. The exchange or buy-back will be done according to the policy in effect at the time of exchange or buy-back.
11. Disputes (if any) will be subject to Mumbai Jurisdiction.
